Our Mission
Gift A Smile is a 501(c)(3) NPO that provides personalized gifts to kids going through cancer treatment and other long-term illnesses, bringing comfort, joy, and support during treatment. We want to give each child something they truly want and hopefully make their day just a little better. If we can create even one smile during a difficult time, we know we’ve done our job.
Every child is different, and we believe their gift should be too. We take the time to learn what each child actually likes and wants.
Whether it’s signed memorabilia from their favorite athlete or celebrity, LEGO sets, gift cards, blankets, plushies, or something completely different, each gift is based on that child’s own interests.
It’s not just about giving a gift. It’s about giving each child something they truly want and reminding them that they’re cared about and that this gift was meant especially for them.

Founder Story
Gift A Smile was founded by Roshan Shah, a two-time pediatric cancer survivor who understands how meaningful a gift can be during treatment. The excitement of receiving gifts he truly wanted inspired him to bring that same joy to other children facing cancer and long-term illnesses.
